Morro Data continues to expand the functions and features of our industry-leading Global File Services. We’re proud to announce the release of Morro Data CloudNAS 7.3. This release includes numerous features, updates, and fixes. New enhancements are in the areas of Multicloud Redundancy, Morro Duplicate for Cloud, Immutable Storage, and others.
In version 7.3, new features include:
- Select primary storage for Multicloud Redundancy: For better performance and cost optimization, you can set priority for each CacheDrive on the Multicloud page designating the primary and secondary cloud storages.
- Morro Duplicate for cloud: Morro Duplicate supports both cloud-to-local and cloud-to-cloud backup providing extra protection for your valuable data. The destination cloud bucket can be AWS S3, BackblazeB2, Wasabi, and Azure Blob.
- Immutable bucket for S3/Wasabi in BYOS for Archive Share: Support immutable buckets when creating Archive shares with BYOS (Bring Your Own Storage) to prevent the files from being deleted or tampered with.
- Role-based Global Administrator: Global Administrator’s permissions can now be customized, providing versatile admin roles with security.
